Amanita Muscaria Spirit
Samhain Online Journey
November 1st to 29th
Important Information & Disclaimers
Amanita muscaria
This journey explores Amanita muscaria through folklore, mythology, cultural history, symbolism and the imagination of the forest. The mushroom itself is not provided for consumption, and this gathering does not teach, encourage or facilitate its ingestion. The practices and materials offered throughout the journey are designed for reflection, creativity, seasonal connection and personal exploration.
Not medical or psychological advic
The teachings, practices and conversations shared during this journey are educational and experiential in nature. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic or psychiatric advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Please use your own judgement regarding your participation and seek appropriate professional support whenever needed.
Your experience is your own
Some themes explored — including mythology, dreams, death, darkness, altered states in cultural history and the unknown — may bring up personal or emotional material. You are always invited to participate in whatever way feels appropriate for you. Nothing in the journey is compulsory. You are free to pause, adapt or step away from a practice at any time.
Ritual & seasonal practices
The rituals and practices are offered as creative and contemplative invitations, rather than as prescriptions or claims about supernatural effects. You are encouraged to approach them with curiosity rather than expectation.
Personal responsibility
By joining the gathering, you acknowledge that you are responsible for deciding whether the practices and materials offered are appropriate for you. We encourage you to listen to your own boundaries and to seek professional advice where appropriate.
Online gathering & privacy
Our online circles are intimate spaces for listening and sharing. Please respect the privacy of everyone who attends.
What is shared personally within the circle should remain within the circle. We ask participants not to record, photograph, screenshot or share another participant's words or image without their explicit permission.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need any previous experience with Amanita or seasonal ritual?
Not at all. This journey is open to anyone who feels curious about Amanita muscaria, folklore, the forest and the deeper symbolism of the Samhain season. You don't need to know anything beforehand — curiosity is enough.
Do I need to consume Amanita muscaria to participate?
Absolutely not. The journey is designed to be meaningful without consuming anything. Our exploration centres on folklore, mythology, symbolism, history, dreams, seasonal ritual and personal reflection. Participation in any substance use is neither required nor part of the course.
What happens during the online gatherings?
We meet once a week for approximately two hours. There will be space to share what has emerged during the week, listen to others, explore stories and folklore, and go deeper into the week's theme together.
You are always welcome to simply listen.
What will I receive each week?
Every Monday, you'll receive a new email with a piece of folklore, history, myth, imagery or teaching, together with invitations for personal reflection. You'll then have the week to explore the material through your own practice before bringing your experience to the weekend circle.
What kind of personal practice will we do?
There is no rigid programme to follow. Your practice might include journaling, spending time in nature, working with dreams, creating a seasonal altar, sitting quietly with an image or story, or creating your own small Samhain ritual.
What if I don't have much time?
The journey is designed to live gently alongside your everyday life. The Monday material is short enough to read slowly during the week, and the practices are invitations rather than obligations. You can give the journey as much or as little space as feels right for you.
What if I don't feel comfortable sharing personal experiences in the circle?
That's completely okay. Sharing is invited, never demanded. You can participate by listening, reflecting and being present with the group. There is no expectation to reveal anything you would rather keep private.
Is this a spiritual or educational course?
It is intentionally a little of both. We'll explore documented folklore and history alongside symbolism, ritual, storytelling and personal reflection. You don't need to hold any particular spiritual belief to participate.
What if the group setting doesn't feel right for me?
A private journey may be available as an alternative. You can move through the same seasonal material at your own pace, with individual check-ins rather than group gatherings.
What do I need to prepare before we begin?
That's completely okay. Sharing is invited, never demanded. You can participate by listening, reflecting and being present with the group. There is no expectation to reveal anything you would rather keep private.
Is this a safe space?
The circle is held as a space of curiosity, respect and non-judgement. There is no right or wrong way to experience the material. You are invited to arrive exactly as you are — with questions, scepticism, wonder, grief, joy or simply curiosity.
What happens if I miss a gathering?
The practical details around recordings and catch-up materials will be shared before the journey begins. If you know you may miss a session, you can let us know in advance.
Who is this journey for?
For anyone drawn to the mysteries of autumn: Amanita muscaria, forests, folklore, dreams, Samhain, ancestral stories, seasonal ritual and the spaces between the visible and invisible.
What's in the Welcome Box
The Welcome Box includes a seasonal micro-blend created especially for this time of year (10 capsules), a 30-day guided journal+prompts to work with, a beeswax altar candle and Amanita incense handcrafted for The Nomad Witchery, and a bar of organic vegan chocolate infused with Amanita Muscaria.
Additionally, the first 5 boxes will include an Amanita Witchy balm to soothe muscle pain and restore the skin.
Is shipping included in the Welcome Box ticket price?
Yes, shipping is included for Europe, the UK and nearby destinations.
For other countries, an additional shipping fee may apply depending on the destination. This will be shown clearly before you complete your booking trough email.
How far in advance should I reserve my Welcome Box?
We recommend reserving your Welcome Box at least 3 weeks before the journey begins. This gives us enough time to prepare and send your box so that it has the best chance of arriving before our first gathering.
If you reserve your place later than this, you are still welcome to join the journey, but we cannot guarantee that your box will arrive before the course begins.
Please also note that delivery times can vary depending on your location and the postal service.
If having your Welcome Box with you from the very beginning is important to you, we recommend reserving early.
